I am a band leader - how do I register for free and enter my tour dates?
How do I register?
- Open http://www.webjazzguide.com and click the flag for your country. This takes you to the Jazz Calendar.
- On the left of the calendar, where the heading is ' Log in or register for free as : ' , click 'Band'
- This brings you to the 'Band Log In' page. Look for 'not registered
yet? - click here to register as a member' at the top of the
page, just underneath 'Band Log In', and click the 'click here' link
and follow the instructions - DON'T FORGET TO CLICK 'SUBMIT' WHEN DONE.
- Your band is now pre-registered and you'll be getting a confirmation
email from us. Be sure to click the activation link in the
email so that your free account will be activated. Make
sure that the WHOLE link is clicked (if the link is split
over two lines, copy and paste the whole link into the address bar of your browser).
How do I enter my tour dates?
- Open http://www.webjazzguide.com and click the flag for your country. This takes you to the Jazz Calendar.
- On the left of the calendar, where the heading is ' Log in or register for free as : ' , click 'Band'
- This brings you to the 'Band Log In' page. Type in your email address and password in the boxes, then click the 'Submit' button.
- This brings you to your Band Fact Sheet where you can change any details you need to. After changing something, remember to click the 'Submit' button on the bottom left of the form.
The rest should be self explanatory, but if you need any help then please click the 'get help' button.
To add a gig, click the 'Add a gig' link on the second menu bar at the top of the page, type in part of the venue name and click the appropriate button (single gig, season, residency etc) - you'll probably be using the single gig button mostly. The season and residency buttons are for regular sessions at the same venue.
