I am a venue owner - how do I register for free and enter my band dates?
How do I register?
- Open http://www.webjazzguide.com and click the flag for your country. This takes you to the Jazz Calendar.
- On the left of the calendar, where the heading is ' Log in or register for free as : ' , click 'Venue'
- This brings you to the 'Venue Log In' page. Look for 'not registered
yet? - click here to register as a member' at the top of the
page, just underneath 'Venue Log In', and click the 'click here' link
and follow the instructions - DON'T FORGET TO CLICK 'SUBMIT' WHEN DONE.
- Your venue is now pre-registered and you'll be getting a confirmation
email from us. Be sure to click the activation link in the
email so that your free account will be activated. Make
sure that the WHOLE link is clicked (if the link is split
over two lines, copy and paste the whole link into the address bar of your browser).
How do I enter my band dates?
- Open http://www.webjazzguide.com and click the flag for your country. This takes you to the Jazz Calendar.
- On the left of the calendar, where the heading is ' Log in or register for free as : ' , click 'Venue'
- This brings you to the 'Venue Log In' page. Type in your email address and password in the boxes, then click the 'Submit' button.
- This brings you to your Venue Fact Sheet where you can change any details you need to. After changing something, remember to click the 'Submit' button on the bottom left of the form.
If your gigs use the same details such as start time, occasion,
tickets, contact details then you can enter what you want in your
Venue Fact Sheet details in the 'default text' boxes, and this text
will be filled in the appropriate boxes when you enter a gig.
The rest should be self explanatory, but if you need any help then please click the 'get help' button.
To add a gig, click the 'Add a gig' link on the second menu bar at the top of the page, type in part of the band name and click the appropriate button (single gig, season, residency etc) - you'll probably be using the single gig button mostly. The season and residency buttons are for regular sessions with the same band.
